What we collect
Account details (first name, email, password, date of birth, country); your swipe answers and basics; generated careers and your dream board; usage and device data such as pages viewed, events, approximate location from IP address and device identifiers.
Why we use it
To create your account and provide the service (contract); to generate and save your careers (contract); to check age rules (legal obligation); to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests); and to understand and improve the product with analytics (legitimate interests or consent where required).
Who we share it with
Service providers that host and run DreamLyfe, including hosting, database, AI model and analytics providers; Paddle.com as Merchant of Record for sales, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. If a parent unlocks Premium, they see your first name and top 3 saved careers.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your data, except where we must keep it by law; then it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can delete your account from the Account page. We respond within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Cookies and storage
We use essential local storage to remember your answers and sign-in, and, only if you accept, analytics cookies to understand how DreamLyfe is used. If you decline, we count visits anonymously without storing anything on your device or keeping personal data.
